Capture Those Old Photographs Before Memories are Gone Forever!

By Richard Williams

When is it passed the time to redo photographs? It just about too late when there are cartons of photos or slides left in your loft fading away. The causes of damage could be fungus, mildew or damp. But if they're sitting in your loft, you have put up a wall between you and your photos. It doesn't take much to postpone tipping around a sullied, dim loft, but this is where your memories are. Why not climb up the stairs and rescue a few boxes of photos? I think you'll find enjoyment for hours looking through your photographs recalling places, people, sad times and good times. Perhaps you will think "who's that person near my Great Aunt Beth with their arm poised on her shoulder?" If that image were clear you would probably know who it is.

Okay, you've looked at them, everyone has them; black and white photos washed out to the colour of the paper base in one corner of the photo, and the other corner the image has vanished under a silvery sheen.

Marriage photos shot in the 60s, 70s and 80s with an orange colour, even if they've been enclosed in the album for 20 to 30 years.

Holiday slides that are currently speckled with black dots; and how did those scratches get there?

A photo restore can in various cases restore images that can barely be seen on the print. Not each time, but frequently. The detail that can be uncovered is like magic.

* Eliminate messy backgrounds - like the telephone pole extending from the brides head, or the bloke making a strange face
* Make certain individuals disappear
* Alter colours of certain items
* Change black and white photos to colour
* Distort backgrounds
* Adapt 35mm slides to DVD
* Create canvas prints
* Insert or remove sepia toning
* Restore photos to design fantastic gifts such as coasters, framed canvas prints, mugs with your photo on it or gigantic poster
* Ever thought about having an image printed on a conventional deckchair?

* Remove shoddy backgrounds; the telephone rod extending from the bride's head or the funny face by the young lad
* Make people disappear from group shots
* Alter colours of certain items
* Bring black and white photos to life with colour
* Smudge backgrounds
* Change 35mm slides to DVD
* Design canvas prints
* Insert or eliminate sepia toning
* Restore photos to create wonderful gifts, from framed canvas prints and coasters to your picture on mugs and enormous posters
* Ever thought about having your image put on a traditional deckchair?
* Mature school photos can be altered to add names or highlight friends

It's a never-ending list. If you redo your most important photos with photo restoration services, they will keep better than your originals because of the various printing methods which include top-quality inks and dyes, and improved printing paper utilized today.

Have your old photos reinstated and protect your family history and how about a DVD for backup?
