For the money, this is a great deal, although when attached, the adapter looks a bit awkward,The only problem I had was that my Canon Powershot SD 890 has a 5X lens which hits the added lens if I extend it all the way. So the adapter would work better on a 3X. I especially like playing with the fish-eye lens! The adapter will work ONLY if the screw hole in the bottom is directly below the lens.
